Like a lot of us, I've never seen a building with multiple addresses
(addrN), but I don't doubt that they exist. The only issue I see is a
business residing within the building. My expectations would be they would
pick one or the other. But without any knowledge it is hard to guess. So I
fall back to how I tag building addresses.

- Single building and single address, the address is included with the
building outline
- Single building with multiple addresses, the address information is
include separate address nodes with the exception [1] noted below
- POIs - tag with individual address nodes except where the POI occupies
the entire building then tag the building outline


-For addrN I would use two nodes if there is no building outline, no change
from today's practice.
-For addrN with a building outline I would use multiple nodes inside the
building outlines, no change for today's practice.
-POIs - this is where the addrN proposal works. Tag either the building
outline with addrN or a single node inside of the building outline with
addrN.

There is one other aspect that I don't thing has been discussed. Normally
you could use the building polygon to find POIs inside. However without a
new tag, ie. addrN, it doesn't work.

Nominatim would appear to work using todays address tagging practices if it
only one of the addresses were used. I'm not sure what nominatim would do
given two addresses.

One of my concerns with this tagging is how to make it clear that it isn't
for buildings with multiple entrances. We could end up with a bigger
problem than the limited number buildings that fit the criteria of the addN
proposal.

I'm going to ask a friend that works for the county government on
addressing to see if he can offer any insight into this issue.

[1] The exception is when you have a main building address information
along with nodes for units. Right now I'm working on an import where we a
main building address and nodes for each unit.
