Correct. The consumer may get the names from destination:lanes (and
additional information from its sub-tags) and the arrows from turn:lanes.

This sounds like a good idea. Maybe we should add a node at the exact
position of the signpost and add lane-independent information to that node,
like e.g. a photo link, support, colour, maybe dimensions like height. And
as some consumers insist on an absolutely realistic representation, we
might even add a link to an external vector graphic (e.g. svg). But at
least the last one might be a little bit too much at the moment, so let us
start with simple photo links.

As a non-native speaker I obviously prefer traffic_sign=destination_sign,
because I never heard of gauntry before. But that's just me. I think
traffic_sign=destination_sign + support=gauntry would be a good compromise.
