Although there are some hints it is not so superclear from the wiki that you shouldn't absolutely use this tag for an entrance:

Additionally this tag could make some sense in case of a true entrance building (i.e. entrance to a site), but would be on a way then, so those 42000+ nodes that are still in the db, clearly don't represent this situation.
