please keep in mind that we are using those tags worldwide, so the
assumptions you are making from your local context might not be true for
the whole world (glaciers). It doesn't matter for surface=cobblestone etc.
how the cobbles have formed, it is a description of the size and shape of
stones and surface that is constructed, not where the stones come from.
