You could try something following https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:payment like payment:bristol_pound=yes.

Key:payment - OpenStreetMap Wiki<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:payment>
Defines if a certain payment method is accepted or not. The notation is made with a subkey: payment:method = yes/no/interval

How should one map that an establishment accepts payment in the local
town currency* (as well as the traditional national one), e.g. Bristol
pounds (B£) as well as pounds sterling (GBP).


*actually a gift voucher -- where B£1 == £1.
