Queensland, Australia used to have No Standing = you cannot stop for any
reason (except Stop signs / red lights), but when I've just looked, it's
apparently been replaced by No Stopping.

Our No Parking seems similar to what you've said:

*"No parking signs*

You are not allowed to park in this area at any time. If the sign has a
time displayed you can park outside of those hours.

You may only stop to pick up or drop off passengers or goods for a maximum
of 2 minutes (5 minutes if disabled passengers), unless the sign allows a
longer time. You must not leave the vehicle unattended."
Here's a handy list of Qld Parking signs & their definitions, if they're
any help to you:
https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/signs/regulatory#parking. TBMK,
most of Australia is similar, if not identical?

I only recall seeing No Idling (usually as "Truck drivers please stop
engine", or similar) as private signs at loading docks etc, not as official
signage

Thanks

Graeme
