The attributes are anyway necessary, even though at present none of the
routers I have tried take them really into account.

Maybe I should have repeated the other aspect, i.e. the considerable legal
difference between the two types of cycle lanes in Italy.
The old type of cycle lane is in Italy legally a fully "protected" cycleway
and signposted as cycleways. The separation from the motor-vehicle lanes is
by means of a normal-width continuous white line and an additional wider
yellow line <https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/zK9x8aXu5wbDQVFIjWWTiA>. This
separation is legally impeding the cars from going into the cycle lane and
the cyclists from leaving the cycle lane, effectively making the
motor-traffic lanes off limits for cyclists. If the cyclist finds the cycle
lane occupied, she has to dismount and go on the sidewalk, if available. (I
know these rules sound ridiculous, but in case of an accident, they are
taken into account)
The new "advisory" lanes are only painted on the asphalt, no vertical
signs. They allow explicitly cars to use the cycle lane, if needed, and
also to stop on it. The cyclists are free to leave the cycle lane if
needed, for example in case of obstacles.
