When I think of "landscaping" the first thing that comes to mind is
the large-scale landscaping of Chatsworth Park

which occurred over centuries, with perhaps the best-known of
which were the efforts of Lancelot "Capability" Brown.
When I look at what estate agents call "landscaping" they
seem to be labelling molehills as mountains.

Yes, but how closely-packed are they? Could you take a shortcut through
them or do they form an impenetrable barrier (like a hedge except with
more depth)? It's not just appearance or composition that we need to
be able to account for.
