It is not something I have seen signed, but do remember when I was young
people would take a bowl to the fish and chip shop and get it filled
with chips, maybe they still would.
Traditionally fish and chips were served in old newspaper, that is
rightly illegal in the modern world.
However we are not living in normal times and until things return to
normal, and who knows what rules will remain, this is not something we
can map or verify.
Away from food slightly, I and many real ale enthusiasts have 4 pint
beer containers which we take to a pub and get filled from a pub
handpump. When pub were allowed to serve take aways but not open
refilling containers was not allowed. They were only allowed to use
brand new containers each time.
This will obviously be applied to take away outlets at the present time
and will not really work in what is becoming a delivery led industry.
