Likely - but let's not shout it down preemptively.  This is one of the 
best worked out ideas to reform the forest/wood mapping in OSM since 
the begginning of the project (and as you know there were many attempts 
at that in the past already).  It deserves a chance to "build a very 
convincing cause" as Frederik puts it.
