I am well aware of this, but we’re speaking about religion=christian here, so it seems straight to apply christian requirements for place of worship. I am not sure a building is required for a christian place of worship, I guess not, although other sites are definitely exceptions. The text says it is supposedly a Germanic ritual site.
AFAIK there is the consecrated ground concept (for example a church that gets disused can become desecrated), maybe this is the thing to look at when deciding the well tags? We’re using its limits when drawing the pow polygon for a church place of worship.
