[Tagging] Evaporation pond = berm vs embankment

Several doubts:
>From the description you give, the evaporation ponds are in reality
decantation ponds, because you are interested in water cleaning, not in
evaporation.
Other question: salt ponds produce which types of salts? Only kitchen salt?
And what about salt flats? And salt flats with evaporation ponds to extract
Lithium on an industrial scale?
