[Tagging] Marking ticket gates

Many places, especially metro/subway stations have automated ticked validation
system with gate/turnstile letting one through on presenting a valid ticket
(that often is also marked as used).

Some of them are turnstiles, and barrier=turnstile seems valid for them,
see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:barrier%3Dturnstile

But some of them are not turnstiles at all - see

How to tag them?

barrier=ticket_gate ( https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/barrier=ticket_gate )
seems a good idea to me.

Is it useful to tag turnstile in ticket validation specially?
