Looks nice, thanks for sending it for review!
What is the difference between
survey_point:structure=block
and
survey_point:structure=pillar
?
In Poland it is popular to have solid concrete block in shape
of pillar (visible height is about 4 times its width).
A bit similar to
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Trig_Point_near_Wootton_Wawen.jpg
but with width at bottom the same as on top.
How it would be tagged?
survey_point:condition=not_visible - such markers should be deleted from OSM.
(description is
> For marks embedded into the roadway, resealing the road may have covered the pin.
> Another example is if a building was constructed on top of the marker
Though I really appreciate
> survey_point:condition=destroyed is not proposed. If the survey marker no
> longer exists, it should be deleted from OSM.
Also +1 to
> This is outside the scope of this proposal
in rendering section.
BTW, what is the difference between
survey_point:structure=beacon man_made=survey_point
and
man_made=beacon
?
