Hi, thanks for the feedback!

I had imagined that ‘pillar’ would be used for smaller/narrower structures, whereas I would consider your photo as a ‘block’.
But you’ve raised a good point, the distinction between pillar and block is somewhat arbitrary. Maybe they’re the same thing?

In any case, I’ve added some more examples to the wiki page.
Blocks/pillars are less common where I live, so it would be helpful to get more feedback on this

What is the difference between
survey_point:structure=block
and
survey_point:structure=pillar
?

In Poland it is popular to have solid concrete block in shape
of pillar (visible height is about 4 times its width).

A bit similar to

but with width at bottom the same as on top.

How it would be tagged?

survey_point:condition=not_visible - such markers should be deleted from OSM.
(description is

Though I really appreciate

survey_point:structure=beacon man_made=survey_point
and
