what a school building looks like is depending on the context. It is
sufficient that the mappers know how school buildings in their area look
like to apply the tag, no universial definition is required.

admittedly the glass shoe is an outlier/exception, a modern iconic building
where you could not tell (at least from the single outisde picture, if the
cross was removed) that it is a church. You would likely perceive it as a
church if you entered I guess. Such extreme examples can be found for most
kind of objects that we tag, their existence does not prove that the system
isn't generally working.
