Another example that struck me as relevant was 
https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/8889220 ("Kokoda Track Memorial 
Walk"* in King's Park, Perth).  Arguably that could have some tagging 
(beyond the name) to reflect its "memorial" nature. Some of the boards 
such as https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1114067237 could also be 
added as some role in that relation.
