Andy, you've been repeatedly asked (by different users) to please 
provide links to to those alleged "reasons explained previously at length",
yet I still fail to find you copy such links either here on tagging mailing list, 
or at proposal talk page:

If they exist, surely it would help your cause to explicitely link to them?

So, can you please summarize / link at the above mentioned talk page your concerns? 

Or should users who would like to get input on both sides of discussion (like
myself) conclude that no furher (i.e. not already mentioned on that talk page)
substantiated objections against that proposal exist; before making up their
minds?
