Wouldn't have to be multiple vendors. At the Uni, you walked into a big
room, & sandwiches were made over here, pre-packed salads at the counter
beside them, various on-a-plate hot foods at the back, sushi over there,
traditional take-away food (pies, hot chips, dim sims etc) on that side,
together with racks of snack foods - chips, nuts, chocolates. get what you
wanted, then out through the common cash registers at the front.
So multiple types of food, but all operated by Uni Catering, & it would
certainly qualify as a food court to me.
"Self-service" is a bit confusing to me though, as that suggests that you
go over to the counter & either pick-up your own pre-packaged food, or use
the serving spoons / tongs provided to transfer the food from the trays to
your plate?
Thanks
Graeme
