[Tagging] Car dealerships that only purchase cars

Hi all,

I posted to the Talk-GB mailing list on this topic [1] and the wiki [2]
but thought I'd post here too, to get some wider feedback.

I'm looking at tagging car dealers that only buy cars from the public -
they do not sell to them. Instead they'll sell the cars via auction
normally to "the trade". An example in the UK is the national chain "We
Buy Any Car".

The shop=car tag is (quite rightly) focussed on selling cars [3].

I thought perhaps using some secondary tagging to convey that they only
buy cars? For example: shop=car + buy=only. The tagging scheme
car:purchase=only has also been suggested. My issue with either of these
is that they are a little confusing - it's not immediately clear if the
buy/purchase tag indicates the customer buys/purchases or the business
buys/purchases.

Or we could not use shop=car if it is focussed on selling cars and
instead use office=<something>?

Any thoughts, or examples from outside the UK would be welcomed.

Thanks!
