a lot of times people use aerial imagery to trace data e.g. in remote parts of the world, often where they never have been themselves, but even when you trace in your local area you might not be aware of every single building that may have been torn down. Aerial imagery is never “current” as in “now”, so the general assumption should be that you ultimately cannot rely 100% on it.
