However the people feel like. If they feel they have a dojo, and if it's
just for four hours a week, sure. If you are just mapping the local
sports facility, just add the martial arts to the list of sports and be
done with it. It's fine either way.

Maybe a decade ago I helped a friend put their dojo on the map. I
remember looking at sports tagging and we just didn't think anything
else fit, even though dojo was back then in no preset, and I think I
already read back then about the controversy. Alternative sports_centre?
Way too big. sports_hall? Seems too big and totally different.

So historically, maybe if there was a smaller category of sports
facility, this would have played out differently. But now we have it,
and I'm totally with those that say: just roll with it. You can tag the
sport, you can tag the facility, and if you fall into the blurry valley
to add a separate dojo or not, don't overthink it. It is rather
inconsequential.
