In my experience waiting with wiki edits for the end of thread is a mistake.

It is better to fix issues after something points out the problem.

(at least in my experience - if I planned to make some edit to wiki based on discussion
then waiting for thread to end resulted in forgetting what was even supposed to
be changed and lack of energy to read through entire thing again)
