Your opinion. There is more the problem at the software, than the
mapper. When the software would be able to connect objects easely, then
there shouldn't be a problem; e.g a preset for "amenity=fuel" have a
field "copressed air station" when you select this you can either set a
new node or select an existing object.... Why should this be so horrible
to edit?
Sorry, but something like this is a standard UI version in the 21st
century....
