Yes, thankfully.  I mentioned it because it is one of the three ford=*
values documented here:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:ford
And it has its own wiki page (created in 2018):
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:ford%3Dboat

This contributes to the idea that ford=yes could be any kind of water
crossing rather than an actual ford.  Given it's low usage, I think we
should remove this value from the wiki or mark it as not recommended.
