I'd interpret net=yes as: there is a net available for this pitch within 
the opening hours
(of either the pitch or the whole facility).

As DaveF explained individual pitches within a facility can be 
unavailable for various reasons at random times.
I never intended to propose that we attempt to model such transient 
pitch availability in OSM data.

So for pitches within a leisure=sports_centre, I think adding 
opening_hours to the sports centre should suffice.

For pitches outside of a sports centre where the net is stored in a 
nearby building, I think adding a description
to the pitch describing where you can actually find the net would be a 
good idea, in any case.
I don't think that constellation is common enough to warrant the 
proposal of a dedicated tag
like the net:conditional=no@(Mo-Su 14:00-15:30,18:00-20:00) you suggested.
