Greetings.
Is it correct to add address tags to street-side recycling containers?
We are adding recycling containers in the city of Malaga, Spain, using
local open data provided by the City Hall [1]. This data includes the
postal address of the container, which actually refers to the nearest
housenumber and name of the street where it is located.
I'm not sure if it is correct in the context of OpenStreetMap to tag a
container with address tags. I do not think that these containers [2]
have a postal address, rather I think that the City Council uses this
data as an auxiliary way to geolocate the container. Should I remove
these address tags?
Thanks for your cooperation.
Regards,
Daniel
