[Tagging] Consensus switching away from mailinglists? Was: Time to split the list?

Digest email should contain the thread/reference ID in the mailto:
links of the contained messages. If you click those (and are using a
proper email client), your reply should appear under the proper
thread. Such threaded links are also available on the web archive
page, but not many use them.
