As a group of East Asian nations, I think China and Japan have a certain
amount in common. However, China's administrative divisions are far more
complex than Japan's, and I don't think they can be simply compared.
(South Korea's administrative divisions are also complex, but not as
complex as China's.)

On the other hand, the administrative divisions in Asia might be very
different from those in Europe and the United States.
So it would be good to have a list reference of Asian's.
How about creating a new category on the OSM wiki, such as "Administrative
Divisions in Asia," that is distinct from this proposal?
