Personally I like how the Schnapsbrunnen

amenity=vending_machine
automated=no
payment:cash=only
vending=drinks

I think that describes it well and comes with the advantage that OSM
frontends do not need to account for yet another amenity type.
(Schnaps-/Most-Brunnen should show up when searching for drink vending 
machines.)
