if it cannot be deducted from the type (or you want to be redundant), a specific property for this makes sense. Not sure if it is flow, because I’ve seen it used for continuous flow vs push button or other tap.

I would not create a type for “downward flow fountain” under the “fountain” key, rather something like outlet:direction or similar with up/down values
