Why it is supposed to be wrong? Are there additional objects not mapped in OSM there?
Because what I see seems self-consistent.

is not landuse=retail.

landuse=retail is exactly for area used right now predominantly for retail

and yes, many landuse=retail/residential/commercial/railway areas are not named

Even if it is useless, this does not make this edits bad.

Can you explain why you think this specific object is invalid?
As far as I see it matches how landuse=retail is supposed to be used.
