Thanks - great suggestion.

I'm pretty sure most of the streets around where I live have been around for
a long time,
mapping them is easy(ish) as I just drive around with a gps - getting the
names is a
pain however.

Did you go to the State library in the city ?

Also, I've just been given permission by the NSW Geographical Names Board to
derive suburb boundaries from there online maps (which are not great, but
it's
doable)
