[talk-au] Brisbane Mapping Party Marathon

Inspired by the London Mapping Party Marathons, I thought it might be fun to
get some of the Brisbane area mappers together for a quick (1-2 hrs +
drinks) little midweek evening mapping party sometime in October. I think
New Farm might be a good place to start as it has some roads missing, but
others fairly well mapped that could do with a POI injection.

I have tentatively scheduled it for the evening of Wednesday 10th October.
Details are here:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Brisbane/Mapping_Party_Marathon/2008-10
. Many details are still to be ironed out, and I'm very flexible on dates
and such, but I'd really love to get something like this happening regularly
in Brisbane.

Let me know how it works out for any Brisbanites listening in here, and pass
it on to any of your friends who might be interested. I'd be glad to
introduce new people to OSM too!
