I doubt anyone is against becoming a local chapter, in principal I'm
all for it, it would be in both our interest (existing marketing) and
OSM-F's interest (extending marketing and legal coverage in other
jurisdictions).
There may be some concerns on the agreement/contract that would need
to be signed, more specifically the finer points may be an issue
however since no such agreement yet exists that's pure speculation.
I'm also aware that most involved are volunteers, as I think most, if
not all, on this list are, but there seems to be some fairly bad
communication occurring also which just exacerbates any issues that
crop up.
