[talk-au] Rendering OSM as SVG

Hi.

Does anyone have any pointers as to how to go about producing a good quality
printed map from OSM? I have had a bit of a play with Kosmos, but it looks
like it produces raster images. For a good printed map I will need a vector
image.

I figured there is probably some process involving SVG, but I have been
unable to find any good how-tos on the wiki.

Basically I'm wanting to produce a custom cycle map. It will be similar to
the cycle map layer on OSM, but with a few customisations.
