[Talk-bd] A new beginning

Good morning to you all from Ireland.

I got into work today and checked to see how many had subscribed to the
talk-bd email list, and we are currently at 17 members already!
It's really great to see such interest in OpenStreetMap developing in a
place that has become like a second home to me.
The potential here is encouraging, and as this initiative grows I hope that
we will be able to learn a lot from each other and produce some beautiful
cartography. =0)

A warm welcome to all of you who are here so far.
It is likely that this email list will become one of the central points of
information and communication as we progress.
The wiki page (wiki.osm.org/wiki/Bangladesh) may also prove to be a vital
tool for charting progress and any edits will always be welcome there.
There is an irc channel open also, #osm-bd on irc.oftc.net for informal
discussion and questions, etc.

I hope that subscribers will feel free to open any discussion on this list,
questions are always welcome, and hopefully answers will be useful. =0)
