thanks Mark :-) I am one of these. (Ik kan wel Nederlands spreken en
lezen, maar schrijven zonder fouten neemt te veel tijd). Please keep
on English if possible for Belgian matters.

> Three subjects to this message:
1) introducing myself to this list
2) what now with the proposal?

physics teacher , digital freedom in Electronic exchanges (AEL
activists), FFII, activist against software patents, FOSDEM,
ubuntu-be.org, openstandards.eu petition leader, conferences organizer
about FLOSS, previous board member of AFUL ...

My activities related to openstreetmap.org so far have been mostly
latent interest, limited by the lack of a data logger: (idem Mark)

* contacts with public authorities in Brussel (see other mail)
* contact with OSM Foundation
* tracing part of Brussels using free sat data (don't
own a gps data logger)
* wants to to find funding and other support to stimulate OSM in BE

As Mark, I could have written : "I'm a proven good guy, I know quite a few
> relevant folks, digital freedom is an important part of my life, have
> me do something useful for openstreetmap.org with 10 gps data loggers,
> we'll all benefit from it."

> My goal: invest a limited amount of time, and no money, cooperate as
> much as possible, get a maximal return for OSM. Think carambole
> effect.

I'll mail separately te results of some contacts I have taken to get
some official data to include and update OSM in Brussels.

Regards

Nicolas
