Thanks for your fast en clear answer!

I'll look next time to JOSM. Thanks for the hint. Is it also possible to 
add a breakpoint to a road? I highlighted a road, and on point I would 
like to break the road there was no 'red dot'. (In Potlatch I click on a 
red dot on a highlighted road, and click on the siscor in the menu 
(right corner).
