[OSM-talk-be] highway=path versus highway=footway

This probably was asked before, but I'd like current opinion. Do you have a
system to choose between the two? Is there some documentation for Belgian
preferences?
I tend to map as either path or footway when it is not possible to enter
with a four wheel drive, or it is obviously not in use as something for
cars (restricted access, or single track). Obviously only cycleway if it is
clearly marked as such. Then path when it is more of an informal track, so
no part of a walking network, just existing because it is used. And footway
if it is more formally intended for pedestrian use.
