The PIWB <http://patrimoineindustriel.be/en/> association (Patrimoine
industriel Wallonie Bruxelles ASBL/VZW) has undertaken an inventory of
industrial chimneys in order to gain a better understanding of this
sometimes ancient heritage. The work covers coolers, drying towers, gas
flares, etc.

OSM contributors wishing to add the result of their observations to this
inventory are invited to add it to OpenStreetMap.

The inventory mentioned concerns mainly Wallonia, but these objects are of
interest to many people outside this region.

L'association PIWB <http://patrimoineindustriel.be/fr/> (Patrimoine
industriel Wallonie Bruxelles ASBL) a entrepris un inventaire des cheminées
industrielles, ceci dans le but de mieux connaître ce patrimoine, parfois
ancien. Le travail s'étend aussi sur les refroidisseurs, tour de séchage,
torchères, etc.

Les contributeurs OSM désireux d'ajouter le résultat de leurs observations
à cet inventaire sont invités à l'ajouter à OpenStreetMap.

L'inventaire cité concerne principalement la Wallonie mais ces objets
intéressent beaucoup de personnes en dehors de cette région.

Sont principalement concernés les tags suivants : (voir ci-dessous)

De vereniging PIWB <http://patrimoineindustriel.be/nl/> (Patrimoine
industriel Wallonie Bruxelles VZW) heeft een inventaris opgemaakt van de
industriële schoorstenen om een beter inzicht te krijgen in dit soms
eeuwenoude erfgoed. De werkzaamheden omvatten koelers, gasfakkels,
 droogtorens, enz.

OSM-bijdragers die het resultaat van hun waarnemingen aan deze inventaris
willen toevoegen, worden uitgenodigd dit te doen op OpenStreetMap.

De vermelde inventaris heeft hoofdzakelijk betrekking op Wallonië, maar
deze voorwerpen zijn van belang voor veel mensen buiten deze regio.
