Dear Arlete,

Apparently, from your quote in the article about your expectations
towards Map Maker, you are confronted to one of the main problems with
their terms of use, compared to OpenStreetMap licence. You can work for
them for free, if you like, but they own the data...

Personally, I am a bit disappointed with the apparent little use that is
made of Spot imagery of Região Serrana (for Bom Jardim, and São José do
Vale do Rio Preto, for example). As far as I know, it is the first time
that Spot Image has made both pre- and post-disaster imagery available
to OSM. Admittedly a bit late. And I think that correctly rectified, 2
or 3 years old imagery is not that bad.
