Wow. that looks great. :)
I might want to add a point to the discussion.
Seeing as how OSM has the potential to also include property boundaries and
go into the finer detail of where fire hydrants are, and where hydro poles
are.. that having the street name repeated would be fine.
Wouldn't that be just an issue with zoom level Issue for the renderer?
Once we start jumping in there adding in stop signs and stoplights.. the
area does cover a cityblock, so it would be just a matter of merging the
way, when your close to it. ...
This could be used as a quick way to see the difference from GeoBase data to
OSM data.
Will the nat_ref tag still be needed when it's time to import the next
update of GeoBase data 6 months from now?
