Hi talk-ca list,
i got word that the address data for bc isnt yet available (and like
NRCan for GeoBase & Can Vec, no timeline.

It isn't a 'NO' so thats good, but what that means is that is fine to
go ahead and import everything else, then once its available, import
it.

Cheers,
Sam

Sam,
Currently BC does not delivery or have a publicly available address
range associated to the DRA ( digital road atlas) and there is no
specific timeline to be delivering the address to NRN.
Although the BC is working on this in through such programs as AddressBC

Subject: GeoBase Import to OpenStreetMap project
		Hi,
I am working on this GeoBase Import to OpenStreetMap
project, and would be very interested in meeting in person with someone
here in Victoria.

		http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GeoBase_Import
This is the main portion of the discussions that the
group is now discussing, and it would be great to get your input, and
the perspective from GeoBC.

As i understand, a few times a year, the provincial
government datasets get sent to GeoBase, so then the full Canada dataset
can be updated.
Currently, just the road names are available. I was
wondering what the time frame is for the house numbers to be available,
as currently only Yukon, Alberta and Nova Scotia has a complete set, as
part of the NRN.

I do look forward to hearing from you soon,

		Regards,
