Hi everyone!

you can download it from here. (3 files, as Google Sites, doesnt like

or from the wiki

I have gone over in detail the 'transportation' and 'buildings &
structures' themes; thanks to those on the talk-ca list and everyone
who emailed me, its better now.
The other themes are also all entered & mostly good, but for this
version it isn't top notch.

What's cool about this one is that it gets installed on the c: drive,
& a folder with all the features that are available in GeoBase, in a
handy folder.

I have changed as bunch of the common tags, as well as added new ones;
based on the feedback & discussions

here's some highlights: (And PLEASE check the charts and comment where
you see errors) :-)

Railway:
To complete the discussion, i have added and used the tag
'construction', to label those features listed as
'under_construction' during the time of data collection. ..
obviously, like all data, it needs physical observation verification.

Runways:
I have added tags of aeroway=aerodrome... please help out can comment
of how all these tags could be updated.

Buildings & Structures:
This canvec feature list is VERY diverse, so it does take some extra
thought to make all these tags matched up.
If you can help, your help is appreciated in suggesting alternates,
and creating new tags where needed.

Relief & Landforms
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/CanVec:_Relief_and_landforms_(FO)
Although its a relatively small list, it does need to be checked.

Sample Area:
The sample area is Niagra Falls, Ontario so some of you might be
familar with it. (030M03).

And so, like before .. please DONT upload any of this data to OSM, as
the script is not fully complete.

Cheers,

P.S. The best way i found is to open up a second window of JOSM and
view all the files at once so you can see it all. Then from the 1st
JOSM window open up just 1 file your interested in viewing.. then
download the OSM area to view what it would look like. Again, don't
upload anything :-) I'm looking for feedback on how these features
can be better tagged.
