Thanks, Brian, I appreciate reading here your roadmap to your roadmap (though the GitHub "openness" is great, too: we can watch the technical guts of things unfold as they develop). Especially intentions to include the USBRS ahead. Canada continues building network=ncn routes (like TransCanada Trail, a very living thing, especially as it enters, develops and "fills out" in OSM) and it is good that a future in Americana intends to include nwn (hiking) routes at national levels, too. (Regional and local, up to you. Mountain biking, something different yet, up to you).

The "America" in "Americana" is part North America, which includes Canada and I think "nice runway ahead" is being paved, as with good planning comes good implementation. Heck, Central and South America could be right around the corner, and Americana is taking off! And I love the way in the rendering there really is a harkening back to how important highway shields were for road navigation on old (often published by Rand McNally) USA "gas station maps" from the 1960s and 1970s (I cut my cartography chops on a lot of these maps as a kid from the back seat of a station-wagon). Neat to see how this all grows up into the 2020s, as we "roll our own." (Pan-American Highway, anybody? Americana could someday display this as its international crown jewel up and down the Americas, sans Darien Gap, of course).

I smile as this rolls out in Canada, Clay. As well as really specific and apparently helpful feedback like from Andrew, fantastic!

If OSM is about co-operation, I give us high marks here. Amazing people do amazing things in this project.
