Sure, however, at the moment we're limited on the back end to what's
available in OpenMapTiles, upon which the project is built.  Currently,
OpenMapTiles only renders route=road relations with up to 6 concurrent
routes, so we'd need changes on the back end to add cycling and, while
we're at it, hiking routes.  Our project roadmap[1] includes plans to
render and host custom vector layers beyond those provided by OpenMapTiles
and these other types of routes are one of the things I'd like to add --
for example, bike routes like the USBR system and hiking routes like the AT
or PCT, and that can certainly include whatever hike/bike routes are
equivalent in Canada.  Once we finish adding support to planetiler for
customizable vector rendering[2] it will open the door to adding arbitrary
features like this.  So this is a long-winded way of saying "yes but it
takes a lot more technical work to get there than road highway shields!"
