Seems like I need to learn Russian sooner than I expected ;)

I think talks in Russian are not completely unreasonable, since there
will probably a number of participants from Russia and some knowledge
of Russian is rather common in the Baltic states. But I guess there
will be more people speaking English, so this should be the preferred
language.
