Unfortunately I'll miss the next social on 4th November. Can someone else
update the wiki with details. In my opinion The City Tavern has gone a tad
downhill since last winter with the installation of a flat screen TV in the
back room (though it wasn't on), a slightly inebriated manager, new barman
and NO CURRY!  So you might want to think about an alternative venue. I use
The Moat House for another group I meet up with as it does food but it's not
that cheap and it's a bit of a walk from the train stations. How about other
suggestions, Quees Head our old haunt is also an option but it's not always
guaranteed to be quiet enough for our group?
