[Talk-gb-westmidlands] BCC gritting routes on their map

Hello,
The data supplied by Amey for the gritting routes appears to have been
captured over A to Z and therefore is inappropriate for the map base that
BCC can legally display on the website. I have taken this data and matched
to OSM to discern the differences. I can supply shapefiles or Mid/Mif for
any GIS users out there, it i sin British National Grid rather than
lat/long. I also have extracted a list of the streets missing the gritting
tags in OSM with an OSM_ID to hopefully help update. There is a fair whack
of work but not impossible.
The grit bins I have not had a chance to look at - again I think it was
captured at too small a scale map.
I plan to supply the list of streets to Brian/Andy to help coordinate the
update and get BCC correct on the map.
Hopefully you can now help me as I am doing the best I can from within the
public sector trying to convince them of the use of this excellent OSM data.
Cheers,
Stuart
